Our mission is simple: We want to create durable, safe and functional furniture for children – furniture that can grow with the child and adapt as needs develop. With a love for good Danish design and the child's safe everyday life, we develop and produce furniture that invites both play, peace and many years of use.

Focus on children's well-being and play
We, Manis-h, are a Danish family business with deep roots in the design of children's furniture. Behind Manis-h are the couple Winnie and Per Lykke Jensen – but the story actually goes back further than you might think. Per's father, Henning Lykke Jensen, was the founder of the well-known Flexa furniture, which many families with children have already enjoyed for generations.
Although Manis-h was founded in 2013, we build on over 50 years of experience in creating functional, safe and aesthetic furniture for children's rooms. We know both everyday life with children and the need for flexible solutions that can grow with the child - from toddlerhood to school age and beyond.
Our name holds something special for us. It is composed of the names of the family's children: M athilde, August , Nicolai , Ingeborg and Sylvester – and not least grandfather H enning. Family is at the core of everything we do, and this is reflected in our approach to design, advice and quality.

Quite briefly - furniture with consideration for your child and for the planet. Children's beds and junior beds from Manis-h are developed, designed and produced right here in Denmark - painted with mild, water-based paint and created to last, in a quality that can be passed down.

With us, a bed is not just a bed – it can be built longer, higher and with multiple floors as your needs change. And you can personalize it with a variety of accessories from storage and pull-out beds to slides, climbing walls, rooftops, bookcases, shelves and much more.
